For autorotation you need long blades, negative pitch and enough altitude to work with. I cant see a ducted fan having much autorotation capability. They would lack the surface area and momentum necesary.

How does the share price falling hurt Facebook? They sold the shaes at the IPO price so they already got the money. If they want more money in the future they issue more shares... Basically Facebook just got shitloads of money in exchange for a marginal loss of control. How are they losing out?

I had a Blackberry Torch 9800 for 2 years and switched to a Samsung Galaxy S2 in March. I was really sad to lose BBM and the physical keyboard, but I find that I like the Galaxy a lot.

My main problem with the browser stems from the phone's hardware now that I think about it actually. The browser was constantly asking me to close pages because it "ran out of memory". Interestingly enough this happened most on Slashdot, but wasn't limited to just this site. Pretty much any graphically intense page also had the problem.

There is something wrong with the company. They produce phones with minimal storage, especially for applications, and outdated interfaces. The browser is especially terrible.

I have a profile on LinkedIn which has done me zero good so far, but one thing about the site has always bothered me.

Is it truly ethical to gain an upper hand with regards to employment prospects because of who you know instead of your individual performance or merits?

To me the site just seems like a blatant promoter of cronyism, promoting the hiring of friends or aquaintences over those who may be more qualified.

I predict the people who make those monitors will go apeshit over the loss of their profit stream from consumables.

Many of the toys on this list aren't very dangerous. I'd go as far as saying that a pencil is more dangerous than every single one of them. I can't fathom why this article appeared on this website.

I have USAA. They also allow us to deposit checks with a phone or scanner as well. The best part is that the funds are available immediately.

I find it interesting that you think 20 year olds don't know what a chalk board is. I'm 27 and currently going to a university in which I have not seen a single dry-erase board. Also, my high school was about 75% chalk and 25% marker.
