swissfondue writes: "The BBC is reporting on plans of the village of Viganella, Italy, to install a giant mirror (40 sq. m.) to reflect sunlight to the village piazza during the sunless period from 11 November until 2 February. Alas, the financing for the 100k Euro project still remains in the dark.
