But why start there? Why not start with those worthless science programs? If we can get the soccer study nerfed then maybe we can get grants to something much more pleasing.

I watched the video. I don't see anything to get upset over. The real problem is getting enough 'real people' involved so that input from 'special interest' groups don't influence the process.

I think I would rephrase you last little bit there. Fox news viewers don't want the liberal slant on news. You know, the kind where conservative and or christian values are vilified. SO they take what they can get. YMMV

This has me breaking out my Visa to put money on my paypal account and make a purchase on Amazon I had not planned on. All in all this may be a boon for the companies those criminals are attacking. Oh yeah ... I suppose that's exactly the issue. NOT.

The issue now, as it was then. Is it's irresponsible to release the information. Leaking the Pentagon papers was bad then just as this is bad now.

This BS about information wanting to be free is a huge load of crap.

Nice way to troll there Taco. Worked too I see. Good job.

But Yeah, I agree. Wikileaks peoples should be hunted down and captured. What to do with them after that? Hard question. After they edited the helicopter video to try to depict the US army as shooting civilians for fun I say hang every one of them.

There is economy of scale to play in to it also.

M-16's have been around forever. They have made lot of m-16's and it's variants and to date, the variants still roll off the production lines. Production lines that have been in place a long long time.

This new "gee wizz batman, I sure wish they had had that when I was in" $35k rifle will get cheaper as production lines and development are finalized.

Even then the system and it's components wont be cheap. In the end though, it really is a revolutionary tool for the war fighters. When the troopers get up to speed on how to actually use it I think the price wont be as big an issue as it is now. $35k for a rifle is an astonishing price. But then, this is more than a rifle and the capabilities are well worth it.

For years now I have been trying to go see a certain artist perform. Only to find the only tickets available ... moments after scheduled release, was at the shady reseller sites. Hopefully the DOJ hems them up in prison for a very very long time indeed. Say, one day for every ticket they snatched up .. or one day for every dollar they made. Or just take them out back and shoot them. They deserve it.
