Personally, I suspect pudge is behind this one, since he wrote a rant last night about how nobody at all covered this, and how the news companies that did screwed up by calling it "official".

Suddenly, slashdot has an article about the "unofficial" electoral college results. What a coincidence?

Metal is stronger than ice, since we make boats out of metal instead of ice. At room temperature, ice will melt faster than metal. And yet, the Titanic sank because of a supposedly iceberg. And no word on this from the government... Also, if you take the word "TITANIC" and you remove the letters T, I, and T, and then you add the letters C, O, S, P, R, and Y, then it spells conspiracy. Coincidence???

Theory conspiracist will always be the same... And "what a coincidence?" doesn't make much sense. Are you asking a question or not?

I don't quite agree.

"Achievement" has many meanings. With the web well on the way past "2.1" and somewhere in the Alpha for 2.5 or something, smart people have a profound resource on tap for First Order questions.

Most great innovation is a coalescence in and around the Eureka moment where you buy people pizza. Let's suppose you are with, oh, the Memristor team. You just announced the Eureka.

The way you're speaking I'm literally seeing a guy who says "I did it! I've discovered a new <Insert some jargon here />!" and then something on the screen: "Achievement unlocked! Moving society forward!"

I think video games spoiled us somehow... science is a continuous process, not a discrete one.

Although I'm mostly against multi-boxing, you really have to sharpen your arguments and gather at least some insights. Don't hate something you can't understand. Check the forums, or google it. Look at how they do it, and why it's not illegal. You'll learn a lot about the game itself along the path.

Once you've mastered the way, learn how to destroy it. I hate multiboxers, but I've learnt to beat the crap out of them easily. The timing is still hard for me, though, and as such I mostly run away from them when I got the chance.

I love you too. What is it about being retard and insults? Next time, if you want to go the cheap road, just do your homework, Einstein. Just look north of USA. I'm in Canada, and although some parts are still using satellites, our population has a better internet speed than you guys. And by better I don't mean "a bit more", I'm meaning more than 3 times faster. July 2007 stats here. Has anything changed much since?

Mods like paying taxes.... I wish I had a trust fund to!

Actually, I _do_ love paying taxes. If it's for something I believe in. And I believe in socialism; a country isn't just a mass of egocentric people who would shoot each others at the sight of someone you don't know on your lawn.

Sorry to break it down to you, but USA is at the bottom of the list for too many points, and (funnily) many socialist countries are at the top. Included points are: education, rehabilitation, democracy, life expectancy, internet speed and access (which is the matter at hand), lack of corruption (lobbyism is a national sport in USA), smallest prison population, number of murder per year per capita... may I go on?
