It is because the early adopters want something unique and eye-cancery. They tend to want something weird to flaunt and a normal looking car just doesn't cut it for their hipsterism.

Perhaps they are looking to learn from Israel's mistakes. "Okay, this doesn't work effectively so we now know what not to waste our time on."

I just wish my government (the United States of America) would spend the aid money we send to Israel each year on securing our southern border from invaders rather than shooting down bottle rockets from Gaza Strip and the West Bank 5% of the time.

I tried to look up some cases of Palestinians destroying factories but I couldn't find any in the Google search results. It consisted mostly of Israelis destroying Palestinian factories and farms, or a Palestinian concrete factory that recycled rubble from bombed out structures from Israeli raids. Please enlighten me with some links.

I took a look at the statistics a while back and Israelis are more likely to die from an automotive accident on their Israeli-only highways that web throughout the West Bank than from any Palestinian attack.

I've looked at the structures that Palestinians like to construct. Thick walls, preferably earthbound if possible. Now while one might think that this is a horrible crime, it is the only way to build a structure that doesn't require air conditioning in the region. Air conditioners typically require electricity and it isn't like the Palestinians can count on Israelis to not bomb out their infrastructure.

"Hmm, they bulldozed my house for the fifth time. Perhaps I should build something that's a bit more costly for them to destroy this time." Unfortunately they don't realize that the Israeli military is subsidized by the American and German tax payers and thus won't stop the Israelis from just using a bunker buster missile without second thought. They just need to say it was a weapons factory or a terrorist's bunker and all is forgiven.

If I had driven one of my neighbors to do all of that, I'd deeply reflect on my own actions and wonder if building my house right in his front yard and then bulldozing his down was the best course of action.

I think it might be because at the start of every peace negotiation, Israel announces a new illegal settlement project in the West Bank.

Gaza and the West Bank are basically open air prisons. Do the prisons in the US make prisoners a better fit for society, or merely drive them further into anti-social lifestyles?

Every new building in the West Bank needs almost impossible to get Israeli approval. Those who dare to build houses without approval get there structured knocked down by armored bulldozers.

Gaza has a hard time getting raw materials shipped in to build buildings. Any farming they do will probably be destroyed by Israeli armed forces.

Now let me ask you, if someone urinated on your face and you weren't into that, would you be grateful for them to do it, or will it piss you off? Asking him to stop just makes him aim it closer to your eyes. His buddies come up and beat the shit out of you if you dare strike back. They then join in the urination party. This is the Israeli-Palestinian relationship.

Look up the Samson option. Israel plans on nuking every major European city they can if Israel falls. They are holding us hostage and forcing us to support their government.

An ideal that is good shouldn't require the threat of annihilation just to get others to go along with it.

1. Sodomy was unlawful. Homosexuality was considered a mental illness. At the rate things are going it'll soon be legal for perverts to groom children for sexual relationships in two decades.

There are already attempts to normalize pedophilia. This is the slippery slope that those who protested against allowing miscegenation warned us about.

What's wrong with miscegenation? Children of such unions are left without a solid racial identity. They are genetic islands so they have a hard time finding a match for transplant organs and bone marrow transplants. So why do us bigots want to put our foot down now? It is easier to stop an object when it has less momentum. We don't want to have to host man/male pony gay weddings in our reception halls. We don't want to have to host man/female pony weddings either. Now I'm not saying that people can't have their man/pony weddings anywhere, just that we're not forced to play along with this farce.

The poor tend to then breed and create more poor to be fed, which makes the problem worse. If we just fed the poor instead of doing other things we'll never explore the galaxy or fix our bridges. I know it really pulls on your heart strings but sometimes you can't fix the problems in the world with simple gestures such as feeding all of the poor.

I certainly wouldn't take a job that would force me to flee to another country for asylum if my conscience makes me become a whistle blower.

All lifeforms are genetically programmed to ensure the survival of their DNA. Typically it takes parasites in the nervous system to turn off this programming.

In their minds, most of their competition dies out and the Earth is left to their offspring. The offspring will be able to flourish with the knowledge they pass on.

If anything, I have to say there is something wrong with people who don't want to survive. What kind of chemicals or parasites have invaded their brains to turn off their genetic programming?

I remember reading that a majority of the energy used in the USA is for concrete production. Switching to locally sourced geopolymers will reduce the amount of power we need and drop us from the top per-capita energy consumer to one of the most "green" nations in the world.

It is definitely better than messing around with mercury-filled bulbs and pumping CO2 into the ground.

So the way environmentalists will go with this is to say no.

I value my safety over the feelings of others. Label it however you want, it is better than ending up dead, brain dead, maimed for life, or having my eye sockets reconstructed with titanium plates.

With the amount of gratitude you show the United States, I'm amazed that we spend so much money on Israel. We could be using that money to fix our infrastructure, upgrade to a nationwide fibre internet, and perhaps switch to single payer healthcare.

Wouldn't it make more sense for Zuckerberg to lobby the US government to restrict the amount of H1B visas going to overseas outsourcing firms? Because if they just raise the limit these overseas outsourcing firms will just gobble up more H1B visas and Zuck and company won't be better off for it.
