I don't know about unusable, but I've had a lot more problems with applications force quitting on their own because the tablet ran out of memory. The Lollipop build on the "new" 2013 Nexus 7 has a nasty memory leak that causes to OS to take over a Gig of memory at times.

The sad thing is that there still are not many Android tablets out there with the build quality of an iPad Air 2. The Android tablet manufacturers like Asus, Dell, and Samsung seem to focus more on lower price tablets than higher quality.

I'd dare to say that Microsoft did a better job of making a competitive premium product to the iPad Air with their Surface and Surface Pro products. That might sound odd coming from someone who actually has an Nexus 7 and likes it. It's a nice tablet, but it's no iPad killer.

That, and the ad blocker software for Mobile isn't as good, so you have less people blocking ads on that platform.

You get more accurate location information on a mobile platform thanks to the GPS sensor on the phone/tablet, allowing you to geo target your ads better.

It seems that Google is less of a search company now, and more of an ad company who dabbles in other areas that bring them ad viewers.

It's been well over a decade since IBM cared about much more than meeting their quarterly earnings projections.

This just buys Ginni some time that she desperately needs to deploy her golden parachute out of the company. Their existing consulting customers are getting sick of the poor quality work that they are receiving, and the loss of business is hurting the bottom line hard.

I'd imagine that the Chromebook would drive me nuts every time Google decides to shut down a web service that you're depending on to get your job done. You know, like Google Reader, Google Wave, or the other dozen or so popular services have done so in the past few years.

Microsoft has it's issues, but at least they usually aren't forcing you to uninstall products that you already have installed.

I'd imagine that this problem will eventually resolve itself, as Verizon isn't letting users keep their $30 a month Unlimited data plans when they get a new phone on contract.

Sure, some people are willing to pay $750 for their shiny new iPhone 6 to keep their unlimited plan, but I'll bet that most rather get it for $199 on a new contract and get downgraded to a 2 GB plan.
