The only difference between the new 'commercial space' guys and Boeing and LM, etc are the rules. How is it fair to the established space industry that was forced to play the government game to lose business because SpaceX doesn't have to.

Much better to leave someone alone with no way of interacting with them to try to talk them out of it. It's much easier to crash a plane into the ground when you can't see the fear and faces of those around you. Fool proof, of course not. But it would have given them a better chance of survival.

For a smart guy he really should realize that the best way to get people to change their opinions is not to constantly insult them. Every time I see him he seems to take the approach that he is smarter than you and you are an idiot if you don't agree.

Now Dean Kaman is a much better example of an education advocate for the purpose of education, not political agenda. And he's actually a really good guy.

I was appalled without having to see it. Visual media was not needed. The fact that we lie in a society that seems to need to have it's shock porn is disturbing. And it wasn't censored, privately held media/news companies decided not to show it.

Doctors don't go through basic. They have to go through basic officer leadership. If you don't want to enlist them in as officers then they should have to go through the training. Honestly, we should be ashamed that we are willing to accept the belief that you can't be physically fit and use computers. Pretty shocking.

This whole argument is so tired. If God wanted science to prove it, it would. If he doesn't, they won't. God gets to roll like that.

If it's a large company, say Boeing, Lockheed, GE, etc, you often have several business units in a particular site. Those BUs often pay rent to the main office for their floor space. Open offices greatly reduces these charges back helping them meet their profit goals. Reduce it enough and they can knock down/rebuild some walls and get the extra building space classified at a lower tax rate. It's all about them saving money. You can't win this fight in this case unless people start leaving. But at this point you're just considered a replaceable widget anyway.
