Comment The people in Florence... (Score -1, Troll) 150

are complete morons as proven by the Maytag plant there. The Republican morons there almost destroyed Maytag. They were founded in 1893, and despite over a hundred years of success, the idiots in Florence almost bankrupted the company and caused them to have to settle for a buyout from Whirlpool. I did machine controls at that plant, and it was amazing the number of people there that were proud they couldn't read. This is what happens when you hire Republicans. They hate actually having to work for a living. They destroy companies just like they have destroyed this country and have ruined our lives. Nearly every moment of our lives are now controlled by their kind.

That isn't the price. Why lie about it? It's disgusting how you people constantly do that.

The cost of AppleDontCare for your iPad is $99 for only two years. The salesliars in their rip-off stores do not tell the truth about it. They lie and claim it is three years, but that is a lie. They charge you $99, not $79 as your lie claims, to extend the warranty for only a few months more. They do not offer a standard three year warranty, because they know their garbage will not last that long. They hate us which is why they shove such unreliable garbage down our throats and refuse to warranty it.

Again, you are spouting nasty lies with that $79 claim. You need to be banned from /. for that crime. That is actually illegal to lie about the cost of warranties like you are doing.

They have ruined my life. She need to be punished for what her and the rest of her Republican kind have done to make life so horrific. Death would be worse than what the Republicans have made us live through. They hate us. That is why I wish I had killed myself twenty years ago. I wish I was dead.

The majority of my friends in Seattle are still on dial-up or ISDN because while Comcast has a government-granted monopoly for most of the city, they don't offer service to the entire area. I've lived in Seattle for my entire life in a lot of different places, but I have never lived somewhere that had cable TV available. How about providing us cable TV first before making upgrades for people that already have both TV and Internet?

So, wait - who exactly in the First World does not know what Microsoft is and does by now?

They might not know Microsoft does games. I know that I've never seen an XBox in a home except for someone that works at Microsoft and got it for free or at a steep discount. XBoxes just aren't popular so it is likely the average person has never seen one.

Their kind shits on the truth and lies lies lies. They lie to promote and help their kind and their ways. That is what they do. They even often lie when it just doesn't matter. They just lie for fun. Now Linus wants every Linux user to lie. That is what this is about. He wants to turn us into liars where lying as a daily thing we do for fun becomes normal. This Republican-created crap has destroyed this country and is infecting the world. For them, it's all about the lies.

No, we should tell the truth. If we are better than Windows, then we should tell the truth. This demand we lie and say we're down at their level is morally wrong.

He is a Hollywood reporter and editorialist. That is stupid of your to compare him to someone that was supposed to have been a real journalist. Being a Hollywood reporter in no way compares to leading the news organization at one of the three networks. It's disingenuous for you Republicans to do that. You're are lying to try to make Faux Knews look like a news organization. It is not. Hollywood Bill's lies in no way compare to Brian Williams. You are giving him, his job, and the entertainment organization he works for too much. We see through your agenda of promoting Faux Knews. We know better.

Wow, there are so many Republican trolls here now.

Confirmed that this is still a serious bug on an updated CentOS 7 system:

# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS Linux release 7.0.1406 (Core)
# sed -i s#/usr/sbin/named#"/usr/sbin/named -broken"#g /usr/lib/systemd/system/named.service
# systemctl daemon-reload ; echo $?
0
# journalctl -r -u named
# sed -i s#"/usr/sbin/named -broken"#/usr/sbin/named#g /usr/lib/systemd/system/named.service

Notice the exit status of 0. systemd doesn't return the correct exit status. Also, when viewing the journal, you'd expect to see the error:

usage: named [-4|-6] [-c conffile] [-d debuglevel] [-E engine] [-f|-g]
                          [-n number_of_cpus] [-p port] [-s] [-t chrootdir] [-u username]
                          [-m {usage|trace|record|size|mctx}]
named: unknown option '-b'

but it is not in the journal. systemd swallows the stderr output and reports the incorrect exit status. This makes it very difficult to troubleshoot start-up problems. I've wasted many hours because of this systemd bug.

It used to be great. It did exactly what you needed it to do and no more. Now it is a bloated mess like Azureus/Vuse. Now when I load UTorrent, my Windows machine slows down so much it is unusable. It loads gigabytes of ads per day. I have ISDN at home right now, and if you let it run 24/7, you can still download a surprising amount of files. That is except with the new version of uTorrent. It makes the ads a higher priority than BitTorrent so your files take days or weeks longer than they should.
