And who is to blame for that? nVidia could release specs and work with the OSS community.

I vaguely recall that ocean air is fairly corrosive to electronics. Would they really use iMacs in a situation where they'd possibly have to be replaced frequently and possibly fail at sea? I realize the buyer will have lots of money, but it seems foolish.
Are you disappointed in the direct Apple has taken over the last few years with a closed ecosystem, mild lock-in, and suing competitors? Can you comment on what you might have done differently if you had been the CEO? Where do you see Apple focusing in the future?
If you could tell 1984 Woz something, what would it be?

Like that?
The article doesn't say they're definitely implementing tiered pricing for everyone, they're trying it in a few markets.. In markets where tiered pricing is not being trialed, the caps are completely removed.

Roughly how much is a two hour movie in terms of MB/GB? Is it really a concern of someone using a Sony/Netflix service that watching a movie per day would put them over the limit?
How is this fragmentation? It's just more choice. Gnome2 is dead as far as gnome.org is concerned. Don't like it? Don't use it.
I went to Memphis for Blues and the food, and decided to go over to Sun Studios (Stax Records is also in town and pretty interesting as well). They have a fair amount of memorabilia and they tell you a lot of interesting facts, though if you're a huge fan of that music, you probably already know those facts. If you're stuck in Memphis for 24hrs, it's not near Beale St, but it's close enough, and worth the effort.
According to the email, 'Foleo II' will be based on the new platform (which I surmise is the Linux based PDA platform) They also say that this cancellation will cause a $10 million charge-off — 'a lot of money, but less than the costs of supporting two platforms', and offer both thanks and apologies to developers and potential customers.""As many of you are aware, we are in the process of building our next generation software platform. We are very excited about how this is coming together. It has a modern, flexible UI, instant performance, and an incredibly simple and elegant development environment. We are working hard on this platform and on the first smartphones that will take advantage of it. In the course of the past several months, it has become clear that the right path for Palm is to offer a single, consistent user experience around this new platform design and a single focus for our platform development efforts. To that end, and after careful deliberation, I have decided to cancel the Foleo mobile companion product in its current configuration and focus all our energies on delivering our next generation platform and the first smartphones that will bring this platform to market. We will, of course, continue to deliver products in partnership with Microsoft on the Windows Mobile platform, but from our internal platform development perspective, we will focus on only one."
Always try to do things in chronological order; it's less confusing that way.
