Submission + - No Flash on iPhone/iPad a "technical decision" (bbc.co.uk)
FyRE666 writes: The BBC is today reporting on Apple's Steve Jobs defending conditions at Foxconn, recently the focus of reports of sweatshop working conditions, and the scene of numerous suicides from overburdened staff. Unrelated to the story was a quote from Jobs at the end of the article that the omission of Flash was "a technical decision". Previously Jobs has stated they have decided not to include a Flash player as it's a "closed" application, and they support open standards.
