"The core community appreciates when someone is knowledgeable," he said, "and thinks some people are idiots and shouldn't be writing."
On the surface, all is well in Wikiland. Just last week, a headline from The San Francisco Chronicle told the world that "Wikipedia's Future Is Still Looking Up," as the paper happily announced that founder Jimmy "Jimbo" Wales plans to expand his operation with a high-profile move to the city by the bay.
A representative of the Motion Picture Association of America told us: "We appreciate the department's commitment to intellectual-property protection and look forward to working with both the department and Congress as the process moves ahead.
It's a naive, domestic operating system without any breeding, but I think you'll be amused by its presumption.
