Either you don't give other people access to your user account, or you use a 3rd party password-protected keystore like Keepass, Lastpass, 1Password, with a separate (or even 2-factor) authentication.

Began taking an A+/Network+ bootcamp at a local training center shortly after getting fired from a previous job in 2010. Overheard them talking about hiring someone as a sys/net admin. Pass all my exams and they basically hired me on the spot and started the following week. So cash ;-)
