I got an idea.
Use volunteers from convicted murderers to kill people.
That way, no one has to suffer from psychological effects except the already deranged who chose to do that.
Sounds perfect to me.

Just inject it directly into the heart. Like those adrenaline syringes.
If they have a heart problem and it explodes, then success! Either way, it works.

if she has higher brain functions then she's not a vegetable. It might take a long time but there's a chance of recovery.
The brain stem takes care of physical movements and automatic movements.
She's in a stage where she's basically paralyzed from the brain down. I'm sure there's some research and tools that can help her. Probably first problem with communication.

Even with access, it takes a lot of know how to get what you really want done on the forms, even diving into vba.
There are fields who only access excel, and there are many levels of expertise within excel from macros to vba to complete what you're trying to do. Someone who's not familiar won't be able to use it. Zero experience in databases doesn't mean they can't learn the basics to support it.

It's the same reason that led them into space to begin with.
Curiosity and a exploration nature will lead them to contact other species.
If they're not curious about what's out there in space, why would they ever venture into it?

How is putting hardened criminals in a jail system where they are deprived of freedoms, assaulted by other inmates and guards, sexually assaulted, murdered, etc not considered torture? Wouldn't it make more sense to put them out of their misery if they are facing the rest of their lives in that condition?

usually death is a fairly certain way of rendering the criminal incapable of doing anything afterwards.
Baring some odd zombie resurrection.
How would you feel if the criminal escaped, or got out early on good behavior just to have them kill/rape/etc all over again? Does it feel like justice?
