Yep. People get confused about the FDA testing and the 510(k) thing on medical devices. It's not that the FDA has to review every change that you make to your product, it's that you have to be able to show that you have a CLCA process in place, and that you tested some version of your product against some version of the OS (whether that is Windows, Solaris, Cisco WCS, or whatever). To say that another way, the FDA doesn't test everything, but you have to be able to prove to the FDA that you tested everything.

To be clear - the poll asks for my "usual coffee making method.' Now I said "favorite" in my post but that should have been 'usual.' Given the opportunity for someone ELSE to make a fantastic cup of coffee for me and not have to invest in the equipment, or clean up, or get dressed to have it - I'll take an Americano - or better yet a Red Eye, every time. Preferably Ethiopian Yirgacheffe single-source please. But based on the marital status of my kids I'm nearly 100% confident that no - I'm not your FIL. Yet.

My favorite method is boiling some water and using some Folgers Crystals or something like that. I spent 7 years in a place where that was just about all the coffee I could get (except for the Arabic coffee with Cardamom in it) so I got used to it. Since I'm the only coffee drinker in my house I'm just making it for myself anyway. On special occasions I will make myself some Starbucks Via.

None that I know of. But then those that I have talked to about it are all fans of the original. I can't speak for anyone who just stumbled across it while channel surfing. I sincerely doubt anyone has ever called the US Version "The greatest show on Television," which I have heard several people say about the original Top Gear.

If you're going to claim to know the implementation of a standard, it's usually best to actually know the standard. HIPAA (one P, two As) specifically states:

Covered entities must consider the use of encryption for transmitting EPHI, particularly over the Internet. As business practices and technology change, situations may arise where EPHI being transmitted from a covered entity would be at significant risk of being accessed by unauthorized entities. Where risk analysis shows such risk to be significant, a covered entity must encrypt those transmissions under the addressable implementation specification for encryption.
