I'm not sure on the policy of where you live, but where I live recyclables like plastic bottles are currently being buried because there is no demand for them. These materials are sold to manufactures so that they can reuse the materials. If there are no buyers than the items are stockpiled. If there is no room in the stockpile than the recyclables are buried.

They should try to make a standard for tablets. I think the chance of moving the laptop industry to this is small...the removal of the screen didn't look very user friendly anyways. I agree that the amount of waste produced is tragic though, Mayne they should try to make a standard for tablet screen size, and then design screens that attach to tablets with a standardized port. Then at least screens should be able to be salvaged.

I'm ignorant when it comes to web programming. When creating games using HTML5 do developers need to be more concerned with code stealing than with Flash? There are already many duplicate games on the web, will this further compound the issue?

As long as the pirated games/homebrew duplicate a legit software products identification info I dont think they will be able to tell the difference. I would guess their first attempt would be to update the PS3 firmware to record KEY/TITLE information and verify that with an authentication server when you log into PSN. If there is a KEY/TITLE mismatch then they can safely assume it is "unauthorized" software.

I agre, that "very very testy" statement is ridiculous. I'm Canadian, and I am not very very testy at all. I also don't judge an entire nation based on the actions of a small group.

I'm a little confused by this. Is there a new Apple TV device coming out? Does the newest Apple TV device have any storage capacity? Do they expect people to own an iPhone so that there is a decent controller? Seems like an afterthought to me.

I'd have to disagree. What is the intent of copyright? If it is to prevent consumer confusion then I would have to side with The Tetris Company. I took a look at Tetrada and it is a clear duplicate, and if I was younger I wouldn't know any better and assume that this was Tetris. You have to take into account the sum of what you mentioned. If there was a game called Tetrada, and it didn't look the Tetris, then fine. However, you have a game that looks like Tetris *AND* a game name similar to Tetris. Personally, I like this action. The 'indie dev scene' is being taken over by developers intent on copying others ideas to make quick profit. I suppose this was popularized by Zynga. Don't get me started on Angry Birds...
