Submission + - Toyota actually may have a sudden acceleration software problem (cnn.com)

baegucb writes: CNN has had documents translated three times, with no different translation from Toyota. Engineers found a problem in 2006, but insist they corrected unintended acceleration problems in pre-production. Toyota said the adaptive cruise-control system was never used in the U.S., but maybe a fork?
