It's because of tragedies like this that I know that there is no god. No allah, no buddah, no fucking christ. Or they are all cruel assholes that deserve to be publicly executed with the same gun that killed 20 children today. I mean, god is supposed to be almighty alseeing entity. Ok, free will and all that shit. But how hard would it be to make that gun jam on the first try? Or better yet, make the first bullet ricochet right into the black heart of the asshole that was holding it at the time? No, too fucking hard? There is no god...

Comment Loud DVD/BR trailers (Score 1) 383

I wonder if this also applies to the trailers on DVDs/BRs? Whenever I put a new disk into the player, I have to reduce volume quite a bit for the trailers, until the movie starts, which is mighty annoying.

And while at it, dear FCC, make them stop putting a buzillion of unskippable FBI/etc. warnings on every disk! It only makes me want to switch to PirateBay exclusively.

BTW, WTF is a "digital theft" they keep mentioning in those warnings lately?! Specifically, which digits are more valuable, so that I keep mine locked up. Is it 13? 42? 3.1415926?

Who the hell cares if the prosecutor's fears were legitimate? What happened to the whole "innocent until proven guilty"?! I can see placing someone in solitary because he/she can potentially cause someone to get killed or do other serious harm. We are talking about goddamn computers here. I have legitimate fears that my neighbors are piggybacking on my WiFi, should we place them in solitary as well?!

Insightful?! I'm a netflix subscriber since they were sending out DVD disks in bubblewrap padded envelopes. And yet I'm still reaching for pirate bay about as often as I use netflix.
