Concealed Weapons Public Records Request

On July 1, 2006, a new law went into effect that makes personal identifying information pertaining to a Concealed Weapon or Firearm license confidential and exempt from Section 119.07(1), Florida Statutes and Section 24(a), Article 1 of the State Constitution.

Exceptions to this exemption are:

        With the express written consent of the applicant or licensee or his/her legally authorized representative.
        By court order upon a showing of good cause.
        Upon request by a law enforcement agency in connection with the performance of lawful duties.

Of course there are no studies because everybody just KNOWS it matters.

So now you, average and small, get to play with the "big" boys and girls. But what really happens is that while you still don't get laid you are no longer a loser, just average. Yippe, yeah big govenrment!

I don't see how you can become a US Senator if you are good with math. How else do you explain the fact that they won't pass a budget and still believe that magically we'll start paying down the debt before we consume all the world's capital. Akin might fit in with that crowd of free thinkers.

NYC is "just" doing a Terry Stop. As far as I can tell, it can be done legally, but probably isn't done legally very often. How you react to it is the important part. It's very unfortunate that we need to teach the Terry Stop in our schools, but if we did it would certainly lower the crime rate.
