I seem to remember DOOM had an option to turn off "head bob" because it made some players sick.

If new highways were designed so the cross streets were above them (overpasses) rather than the highway going over the cross streets, cars would decelerate as they climbed the hill towards the intersection. Then they would save gas from the intersection going downhill towards the merge with the highway traffic. Less wear on the brakes and the engine along with a fuel savings. In some cases anyway. It's not going to be a huge savings, but every little bit would help.

Urine volume should go metric so that last drop that comes out after you zip up would be centipeed.

Creating a truly random number generator that takes advantage of quantum effects is not terribly difficult. Many modern CPUs now have this support built-in.

Call me paranoid, but I don't think it would be safe to assume the 3 letter agencies haven't already co-opted the design of the modern CPU random number generators.
