Pay $x(read alot) up front for a quote, they send you someone elses fixed camera!!!!
who know how it was looked after, what environment it lived in etc etc etc....... that was my last Kodak...

A blocked IMEI can still call 112 the international emergency number as well as 000 the local equiv of 911.
Each carrier keeps a local copy of the stolen register and updates regularly and the phone IMEI is then blocked ***at registration*** to the network not on a per call basis if it is used at all.
One thing Au has over the US is only 3 networks and not a patchwork of carriers, this makes things rather easier.
The AU example if I remember correctly was a Govt. mandated requirement, ie. do yourselves or we will make it law.....

Ubuntu is without a doubt the best distro for most users. Yeah, I know I could have more customization with Debian, yeah, I know I could be faster if I ran Gentoo, yeah, I know I could be more on the bleeding edge if I used Fedora, but when it comes down to it, Ubuntu is the best distro for most people
correct! so far I have converted 6 other ppl who would normally have not even considered it. to further top that off, when ppl come to my house and need to use a PC they just say "this looks different to my PC" I dont say a word and THEY USE IT ANYWAY without any coaching...... Ubuntu = usability = ubiquity(eventually) I care not for Geek cred, just wanna get the job done and Ubuntu ticks the boxes
