Submission + - Selling ideas to manufacturers

microtubules writes: I have a good idea but I can't even get started in the patent process because I need a lawyer and they are too expensive.Patent laws may not be in my favor ,I don't know. There are a lot of scam invention promoters around too.I thought of another option .I could try to sell a good idea directly to a manufacturer in exchange maybe for a good job. I also think it would be a good idea if manufacturers allowed us to help design products online in exchange for a percentage of profit. I would not object to selling the idea to a foreign company either because American companies send our industries to foreign companies all the time. I'm just trying to pay the bills. What do you think? Is Slashdot hiring?
