He was kind of like the guy at the call center who gets all the abuse for the bad decisions of a company. If you critcize Ubuntu on Ubuntuforums you will get banned pretty quickly, but on those Q&A sessions it was alot harder for them to silence the critics.

I never read the aticle... I only come for the funny comments, and sometimes someone posts an interesting link. Not much on this article. Some uranus jokes and people talking about how crap space travel has become. Sending radio controlled cars to planets instead of people.How many mars missions to look for water? The cost of a Windows and Office license is quite high. Doing a few Google searches to find out how to use Linux & Open Office is alot cheaper than that. Yes, there are some cases where a user will need special apps that aren't free, but most desk jockeys spend most of thier time in Word, Excel and faecesbook. Windows isn't necessary in most cases.
