Seems like this would be a violation of the Federal Fair Debts Collections Practices Act.

She might have an easier time getting a lawyer to go after her stalkers employer, than she will in getting one to take on T-Mobile

Why
1. Clear violation of the FDCPA. It has clear monetary penalties and a well recognized enforcement mechanism. Slam dunk, easy money for the lawyer

2. Go after T-Mobile, with a new tort claim, no precedent that T-Mobile has a legal duty that they breached to the victim. This is a reach, and the lawyer may never see a dime.

According to this guidance document, airlines can no longer ask for that kind of documentation for a service animal. They can no longer require service animals to check in at the lobby. People with service animals can fly with up to 3 service animals.

ESA and PSA animals are another story. An ESA or PSA can be required to check in at the lobby an hour before flight. An ESA or PSA requires documentation of some kind, from a treating mental health professional asserting the need. A passenger can only have one ESA or PSA. The ESA or PSA counts towards the 3 service animal total.

I worked in a CNC Machine Shop for over 15 years.

Many of our CNC Machines came with XP embedded into the machines controllers. We also had Win2k integrated machines.

Problem is that with these embedded systems, it is prohibitively expensive to upgrade them. $25,000 for the parts, and 2 days on-site for a technician, about $4,000 with expenses, to upgrade 1 machine to a new OS.

My solution was to keep the CNC machines on a seperate VLAN and block them from internet access. Company stored CNC files on a file share on the server. So the machines needed network access.

If Google got rid of a political hack like Cohen, and replaced him with someone who really cared about the mission of Jigsaw, then some of their culture problems in the organization would clear up.

Cohen cares about his personal brand, and press, more than he does about making the world a better place. He doesn't realize that about himself though.

He hired other leadership people based on their ability to make him look good, making the leadership problem worse.

It is okay to get good press about the right things. But that shouldn't be leaderships goal.

I was unemployed for a few months last year.

I drove Lyft and Uber for a while, but it drove me crazy because, I didn't feel like I was making money. I developed cash flow, which helped with the bills, but didn't feel like I was getting anywhere.

When I did my taxes this year, I figured out why I felt that way. My profit from 2 months driving for Lyft and Uber was $50. Based on the number of hours I was away from home, I was making about $5 per hour gross.

Lyft and Uber don't pay better than being a teacher. If I wanted to buy a new car, I might be tempted to drive for them to make enough money to make my car payments, if I was teacher.

As a Republican living in Portland OR, I have an interesting view on this situation

Because of the population distribution in Oregon, the legislature is controlled by Salem and Portland. If you live in Eastern Oregon, your interests don't matter.

Historically, problems in the Portland and Salem area are solved by passing a State Law. Most of the area east of the Cascade mountains is controlled by Republicans. But because they don't have the population numbers, they have no ability to influence the debate on issues.

Around 1990, Portland, Salem and Eugene voters got very concerned about urban sprawl. Living in Portland, I agree, it was an important issue. So instead of comprehensive land use planning in the region, the State passed comprehensive land use laws. Works well in the Portland region. Has increased population density, driven up home prices. Now they are worried about rental prices. In Eastern Oregon, it has resulted in extreme difficulties in developing new housing. When a new prison was built in Eastern Oregon, near Ontario, it spurred a lot of economic activity in the area. A lot of new housing was needed. It was all built across the border in Western Idaho, because it was easier. If you drive past farms in Eastern Oregon, you see a lot of abandoned homes. Sitting there rotting on the farm. Why? Because under Oregon's land use laws, if the farmer wants to be able to let one of his kids build a house on the farm, if there is an abandoned home there, they can get an exemption to replace the building with a new home. But if they tear down the house, and don't replace it within 6 months, they lose the grandfather privilege to replace it forever. So the home sits there, an ugly eyesore, because they might need to replace it someday.

I was a Planning and Zoning Commissioner in Western Idaho during some of this, so yeah, I had some experience with the issue.
