This isn't a lack of options or a lack of will. It's a lack of money.

The V.C. Summer plant has serious financial problems. They tried to expand by adding additional reactors but completely mismanaged it, squandered billions of dollars, and eventually killed the project.

No, the problem that is plaguing the entire nuclear industry is not a lack of will or lack of money. It is a lack of competent management that isn't completely corrupt.

If they had a clue, they'd just dismantle the non-NT development team and find a way to split the actual smart people on the NT team in half.

Everything has been NT-based since Windows XP.

The problem is not "two teams". The problem is there is only one team and it is run by idiots. Nobody in their right mind can look at Windows 7 and then look at Windows 8 and say "Oh yeah, this is a good idea."

For some reason, that I still can't figure out, Microsoft has been on a crusade to completely destroy Windows, beginning with Windows 8 and continuing to the current Windows 11.

Windows 11 is ... usable (barely) but only with the addition of some third-party programs and registry tweaks to fix all the things that Microsoft has fucked up, and even then it is inferior to Windows 10 in overall usability. The fact that Windows 7, which is now 15 years old, is still better than anything released since, is really mind-boggling.

Yes, its called getting off your backside and flicking a light switch.

Yeah, I don't think you get how this works. My light switches are Hue, and work by Zigbee.

I understand exactly how it works. Get off your ass and use a light switch like a normal, sane person, or STFU when things don't work.

Also, anything involving the word "Zigbee" is just fucking retarded and should be avoided.

But do they really have a monopoly on online search?

Many people are already complaining about Google's search not being good, so if Bing was better they'd soon make Bing their default but Microsoft seems to be trying to be bad at search or something - Windows, Teams, Outlook, Bing, all terrible or crap at search.

If Bing, DDG or whatever is better then lots of people will switch. But sadly they aren't better. DDG is only better in privacy, not on search results.

People have been complaining that Google's search results suck for the last 10+ years. (do a search for "Google's search results suck"). The problem is, Bing, DDG and all the rest suck even worse, so people just stick with Google since it sucks the least. Google wins by default.

Problem #1:
In November 2022, the password manager service LastPass disclosed a breach in which hackers stole password vaults, using information stolen during a previous security incident from August 2022.

Last Pass, whose entire business is to keep things secure, failed to do so, TWICE within three months.

Problem #2:
When the breach occurred in November 2022, LastPass said: "... customers' passwords have not been compromised and remain safely encrypted due to LastPass's Zero Knowledge architecture."

Which we now know is a lie.
