This is an attempt by a politician to place blame elsewhere and deflect years of bad lawmaking by blaming something that is so preposterous it can be made to sound plausible when reported by a news outlet. Chicago and Illinois need to re-think their anti second amendment laws and allow their citizens to carry a weapon. After a few car jackers get shot, then let's see if the trend continues to climb.
