So, you're telling me that these researchers don't know the difference between giving a chemical with food as opposed to just with water? There's a big difference in how the body (rat or human) absorbs chemicals depending on how it gets there, and what is in the stomach.

It's more than just the concentration. Look at medication sometime: "Take this drug with a full glass of water." "Take this drug with food." etc. etc.

Maybe they should have the rats chomp down on some of the actual GM food that is supposedly so bad?

How many children actually need neo-natal heart work? Or have severe birth defects? Most babies are born fine and healthy, and if not who better to accept responsibility for the expense and care of the child than the parent? I'm willing to accept that responsibility if it means my child is more than a carbon-copy drone like every other child.

Well ok, not rockets, but how about building simple catapults/trebuchets? Not quite as "dangerous" as a rocket, but still a lot of fun to do.

In school/high school, I built rockets, a trebuchet, and a crude coilgun. It was a blast, we learned a lot, and nobody got hurt, no property damage...but yeah, lets keep filling in those little bubbles with #2 pencil because that'll make them learn!

Because the media isn't making it an election issue. In an election year, you don't hear about squat unless the media in general wants you to hear about it.

What good are millions of people loudly declaring something while they're stuck in "protest/free speech" zones away from anyone with eyes to see them or ears to hear them?

Maybe you've been living under a rock for the last few years, but "happybirthday.jpg.exe" hasn't been a big attack vector for a long time.

Most of the infections I've seen in the past 3-4 years have been from some dodgy ad on otherwise legitimate sites exploiting a security hole somewhere. News sites are common for that, or anywhere else where lots of people visit (don't even get me started about facebook).

Malware aren't usually out to pwn the computer for the lulz anymore. It's about expanding their botnets for spam ($$$), or getting credit cards from people ($$$). No system in the world is going to protect a user that decides they want to give their CC# for something.

Unless you're running some old crappy Mac from 8 years ago, why would your big bad super duper Mac even notice the miniscule amount of system resources devoted?

You don't have a problem infecting other people's computers? Thanks a bunch!
