This. When I replaced my Nexus 7 there were not many good choices at the $200 price point. I went with a Samsung and still wish for a Nexus upgrade.
Are they really getting rid of these jobs or are they having people train the cheaper foreign replacements again?

Follow the money is what I say.
Sure I get and agree with your point
Do you really think the manufacturers decided this on their own or where they mandated to do so?
Here's an article that has a link the the NHTSA doc in PDF - https://www.reviewgeek.com/150...
Disclaimer: I work in public higher ed.
Using the average is misleading. Private and high priced specialty programs (like medical and law) throw the average off. They should be using more 'typical' numbers like median but those don't make it as disturbing. I'm sure there are some people getting degrees that have no direct correlation to a job except for teaching in their field of study. However, a degree of just about any kind can usually help you get a job but if you can't then maybe it isn't the degree that is the problem.
Also, there are plenty of lower cost options for getting a college degree if you are willing to attend public colleges and universities (preferably local). However, if you insist on going to specific schools because they have a great team, greek life, family alma matter, etc then you are probably gonna pay more... a lot more.
Companies are already recycling BEV batteries. Here is one of many videos covering it.

Yes, if the materials value drops to zero or below then they will get buried. That requires a different solution.
Yep. Research is a "cost center" that doesn't make the company money therefore it must go. Said another person only focused on short term gains.
Why choose? Some Buc-ees already have Tesla superchargers.
It will get ugly if there are multiple charger types at places like Buc-ees but the car companies are probably too stubborn to use Tesla's tech.
Roku should just make it so their TVs have a naked Roku on a card you can replace/upgrade down the road if you want.
I really hoped TVs would have some type of standard slot for Roku, Apple, Google etc
They could be using the mail accounts to reset the passwords. The "I forgot my password" utils quite often will just email you a reset link.
One of our favorite benefits is at home charging so the car i ready to go each day. This means never having to go somewhere to "fill up" in the morning before our commute to work because one of us forgot. It seems like a little thing at first but my wife tends to run late and that extra detour to the gas station on the way to work sometimes leads to a much longer commute time.
There is also the potential of "vampire" draw adding up over a few days. Features like Sentry Mode and Cabin Overheat Protection can draw down a battery more than expected over the course of a few days. Of course you can disable these things but
Personally I think hybrids (maybe PHEVs) are probably the better choice for people that cannot charge at home.
NEWS FLASH - We are what we eat, drink, and breathe.
Maybe not 'cloud' but web hosting and then SaaS email got started pretty quickly. Cloud as we know it today is much newer.
