The biggest problem with cell phone cameras is that the pixels are small and not sensitive. HTC decided to go with fewer, bigger pixels that collect more light and are more sensitive. I'd much rather have a 4 MP picture with less grain and noise than an 8 MP picture with more grain and noise. After all, you only look at the pictures at around 2 MP max.

That stuff counts as a package. Anything more than 1/4" thick IIRC is no longer a "letter."

If you install no apps and turn data services off, an iPhone will last 4-5 days. I've done it.

Fixed lens means you can't take separate the lens from the body (sensor/viewfinder/electronics package).

Point and shoot cameras, even megazooms, are fixed-lens autofocus.

A fixed-focus camera is the kind on many phones and older webcams - there is no moving focus element.

This is not "shoehorning." The Surface Pro is a complete x86 computer in a tablet form factor. It runs Windows 8 - the exact same Windows 8 you get on a new desktop or laptop.

My PCs are fully backed up to my WHS every night. The WHS itself backs up nightly to a USB drive. The WHS backup, most of the WHS data, and PC backups are synced to another USB drive that lives in my office and comes home about once every two weeks.

The WHS data is backed up online to CrashPlan, except my movies, which are backed up to another external drive that lives at a friend's house.

I also have a bunch of stuff, mostly documents and notes, in Dropbox which is backed up online, to 4 different PCs, and is included in my nightly PC-to-WHS backups.

So every piece of data I have is backed up to three places, except the movies which are backed up to only two.

My high school gave 1 quality point for an honors class, 1.1 for a gifted class, and 1.15 for an AP class.

McDonald's burger patties are made of 100% beef. That is, they're made of nothing but the meat of adult cows. When cooked, they add a blend of salt and pepper to the patty.
