Comment Re:And how will this (Score 1) 243

Gemesis ( http://gemesis.com/ is where I got my fiancee's diamond several months ago. I have nothing but good things to say about them, especially about their customer service. There are a handful of other places though, however the only one I can recall is Apollo Diamonds, which was bought around the start of the year, I assume for industrial use. Shoot me an email if you'd like to know more.

I was thinking about this yesterday when I was looking through CmdrTaco's reddit AMA. If we wanted a truly fair system, couldn't we just do relational ratings? (It would probably be too much work server side, but it sure sounds good in my mind.) Have each reviewer rate a game in comparison to another game. Portal 1 better than 18 Wheels of Steel. Team Fortress 2 better than Data Jammers: FastForward. With enough people, everything would end up somewhere on the scale and it wouldn't all be squashed up towards the top half that it is now for half decent games.

Submission + - Best of Two Player Tabletop Gaming?

An anonymous reader writes: My SO and I have been bitten by the tabletop gaming bug (blame Wil Wheaton for this). We've been looking specifically for games that are great with two people, but scale up well for when we do manage to organize gaming nights. So far, we've tried Struggle for Catan, but found it to be more miss than hit for two people. We also spent some time with Arkham Horror, but not near enough time to get to the endgame. Help us, Slashdot. You're our only hope.
