If Comcast is having major network congestion then why did they automatically double everyone's download speeds? I got a letter a few days ago saying that I now get 12 down rather then 6. Seems like a BAD idea if they are having congestion issues...

I don't know what nerds YOU know, but MMOs are about as main-stream as you can get. Any "nerd" who plays WoW or other addictive MMOs have NO RIGHT to call themselves nerds.

Dedicated servers should check for matching steam IDs, even on the LAN. As for listen servers, I have NO idea...

Mooga writes: The official site has announced that Fortress Forever will be released by the end of the month. Fortress Forever is a free Team Fortress mod for the source engine. Unlike TF2, which is scheduled to be released on October 9th, Fortress Forever is more true to Team Fortress Classic and will feature grenades for all the main classes as well as conc jumping and bunny hopping. Mooga writes: I have a computer set up to a TV via s-video. I've been using it to watch videos found on my network as well as local games and emulators. The problem is that browsing through folders for files is hard to do since small text appears very blurry on the TV screen. I've tried searching for free Window front ends which would make it easier to scroll through programs and files on a TV screen. I've considered switching over to LinuxMCE, but I'm worried about its compatibility to windows as well as it's ability to handle the games and hardware that I will be using. I also have little experience with Linux and would rather use a Windows front end for the time being. Is there any windows software that will let me easily view and access files and programs on an older TV screen?
