The same question was asked about 110 years ago in the field of physics. Everything that was seen could be described with Newton's laws of motion, or Maxwell's equations.
There were only a few open questions left in the entirety of physics. Then relativity and quantum mechanics were discovered.
You can't have that kind of hubris and also be a scientist.
Yeah, OnLive isn't constrained by computing power, but they're still constrained by bandwidth.
Is there a big enough market for their service in the few areas that are able to use their service?
if you use Steam with DRM for online distribution (a good idea) then they disallow you from having a physical copy without Steam (bad idea) or from using alternate online distribution means.
That's not true. Let's pick a semi-recent release, FTL. Development was funded through Kickstarter, and the game is available from three digital distributors. You can get it on Steam, GoG, or direct from the developers.
How is a billion dollar fine fair when somebody doesn't willfully infringe?
What's your favorite magic trick?
You must be new here.
That's patently false.
Homefront was originally going to depict an invasion of the Chinese army, but the producers were worried about upsetting the Chinese, so the antagonists in the game were changed to North Korea.

Won't somebody PLEASE think of the children and stop this madness?!
I'll bet this is just the DHS' attempt at getting a record with medical equipment, so they can rubber stamp the x-ray machines the TSA uses, to keep the FDA out of the loop.
There's a fair bit of cognitive dissonance when it comes to the government saying that we're allowed to overthrow them.
Of course the supreme court wouldn't rule that we're ALLOWED to overthrow them if they become too tyrannical, but the supreme court isn't the end all be all of what's right. Everybody in this country, even the other two branches of the federal government, have the duty to determine if a law is constitutional. The execute can veto a law that the president deems unconstitutional, or refuse to enforce it if the veto is overridden. The legislative can rescind a previous law that was unconstitutional by invalidating it with a new law.
I think a big reason for the personal defense justification for the second amendment is that the supreme court has previously ruled that the police are not here for your protection, their job is to enforce law, not protect civilians. So if the cops can't defend us, we have to be able to defend ourselves.
But I'm sure King James III also said that the colonies were not allowed to overthrow his rule and govern themselves, either.
Could you cite that position?
I remember reading about the mass looting that occurred in New York during that black out a few years ago. The police weren't around, so crime spiked because there were no consequences.
Except that only people who are mowing down schoolchildren or watermelons for a youtube video use full auto.
From what you're saying, you imply that a school shooting has occurred where children were killed with full auto fire. Please cite a single school shooting where a weapon with full auto capability was used.
That's simply not true. Without genetically modified crops, and use of 100% of the available land for farming, we could only feed 4 billion people.
Genetically modified corn, wheat, and rice have saved the lives of hundreds of millions, if not billions, of people.
Read up on Norman Borlaug.
I doubt that. The queen still retains ownership of a large portion of land in the UK, and leases it to the people for a small fee.
There is no legal obligation for the sitting monarch to do this, it's just tradition. The sitting monarch leases the land to Parliament which then leases it out to companies and citizens, and collects taxes on the land.
The queen uses the money she makes from the lease to live like a... well, like a queen.
