Submission + - Torrentspy will not let US based IP's access site (torrentspy.com)

vil3nr0b writes: I have always used Torrentspy.com and I went there today and when beginning my usual search I received this notice... Torrentspy Acts to Protect Privacy Sorry, but because you are located in the USA you cannot use the search features of the Torrentspy.com website.Torrentspy's decision to stop accepting US visitors was NOT compelled by any Court but rather an uncertain legal climate in the US regarding user privacy and an apparent tension between US and European Union privacy laws. What gives?

Submission + - ADA and Web Sites (computerworld.com)

grassy_knoll writes: Since the lawsuit filed by the National Federation of the Blind has just been granted Class action status, do you have any plans to ensure your web sites are ADA compliant?
It seems not all web sites must be:

Goldman said it's unclear what other Web sites might be covered by the ruling. "This doesn't mean that the ADA applies to all Web sites, but on the other hand, if there's a bricks-to-clicks type of business and there is some integration of the experience between the two, I think the court is saying that those sites need to comply with the ADA," he said.

Although there is certainly a push towards that:

Marc Maurer, the President of the National Federation of the Blind, said in a statement. "All e-commerce businesses should take note of this decision and immediately take steps to open their doors to the blind."
So, do you have any plans to ensure your sites are ADA compliant?
