Stream size: 2GB.
4k BD-remuxes of similar length TV shows: 15-50GB.

Looking at you, Disney+. They're the worst offender. Netflix actually used to offer BD quality streams if your device and connection could handle it. They've since cut it in half. Probably more, last I checked was when ST3 came out.
Netflix is also surprisingly strong on DRM now too. Only the very most popular shows get their 4k versions decrypted (vs ripped from HDMI streams), and it takes months sometimes. Apparently apart from the technical difficulty, you need an nVidia Shield to do it, and it gets banned after 1-2 episodes. So a lot like the DeNuvo situation with games (only worse since you don't need to keep burning $200 hardware devices).

Of course it comes at a cost. Your 16-bit driver for NT4 likely isn't signed, so you have to disable driver signing globally to use it, and do so every boot because that can't be set to always do it. There's an extremely elaborate workaround if you have Enterprise or Education Windows for self-signing. But that's just as painful as hardware on linux at that point.

The UK has a well known issue with bias against foreigners suing UK-based corporations.
You're full of shit if you think it's easy to win a defamation of a public figure case in the US. It's a massive uphill battle. It's the exact opposite of what you claim. Celebrities bringing defamation actions can almost never win because of the actual malice standard; they have to prove that not only was it a lie, the person *knew* it was a lie. There's a very clear reason why she lost with a unanimous jury verdict here, but got one very clearly biased judge to believe her in the UK, and it's not because a jury full of people all just loved one celebrity so much more than the other they decided to ignore the evidence. How do you in good conscience make such a ridiculous claim to defend and abusive piece of shit?
Oh right, you're so far off the deep end you take 'beleive all women' literally, where no amount of evidence is ever sufficient to convince you one might be lying about this sort of thing. You might claim otherwise, but when *even this case* isn't enough for you to conclude it's a lie, and you can point to no other where you disbelieved a woman, that's clearly either a lie to us or a lie to yourself. Just like her 'expert' witness... "I've worked on thousands of DV cases" "Have you *ever* found a instance where an adult male was the victim of an adult female?" "Look! Squirrel!" (she evaded giving a straight answer, it was obvious).
For fuck sake dude, did you listen to any of the audio? Listen to her describe having Depp on top of her pounding her head into the bed, ripping her hair out, splitting her lip open, etc, only to show up the next day without a mark on her and able to move flawlessly and open her mouth for a nice wide smile that would be impossible to do with a recently split lip? Did you notice how the photos of the chunks of hair that supposedly got ripped out leaving her scalp bloody magically had not a single root pulling out, rendering that claim in defiance of simple physics?

You're defending someone who's unquestionable not only the perpetrator of a DV hoax, but was in fact the abuser herself. It's just as disgusting as the asshats who defend men accused of these things. That's how you're spending Christmas. Posting ignorant defenses of abusers on Slashdot.

Seems they neglected the most important part of making a movie with an abusive herself court-proven domestic abuse hoax perpetrator succeed; it can't suck. And now it's shitting the bed like one of it's characters; can't wait to see how they'll also try to blame the tiny, tiny dog for the massive human-sized shit.
