Submission + - Linux Les Miserables Game Aims to End World Hunger (enterthestory.com)
Nz17 writes: "When Chris Tolworthy started work on "Enter The Story," he had no idea it would take him ten years just to realize the first part of his dream to make graphic-novel-like adaptations of the world's great classic novels in an interactive, digital form. But after numerous false starts he has released his first title, a faithful recreation of Les Miserables, with new entries planned for release every six months. Unlike most adventure games with huge inventories and contrived puzzles, these adventues, planned to be six in total, utilize the actual difficult situations that the characters in the novels find themselves for the challenging elements. The games will all be DRM-free and a purchase of one game will garner the next two for free. Perhaps best of all, the profits from the "Enter The Story" series will go into world hunger research. The interactive novels/games are available for Linux and Windows."
