I just have my own domain and create forwards like BestBuy@mydomain.com to forward to my gmail address.

Then create a Gmail filter:

Matches: to:(BestBuy@mydomain.org)
Do this: Apply label "Rewards/Best Buy"

If I want I can request Best Buy to stop sending email. If they don't then I can either delete the forward so they get a bounce back or just update the forward to send it to :blackhole:

I can't even recall the last time I got a spam message in my gmail inbox. Haven't had any false positives either.

Most of the spam I get is from some ass-hat that started using my gmail address. The format I use for everything has a period in it. Someone in Indiana started using it without the period. I created a filter to label everything that address as "FUCKER". A good 90% of message in the spam folder have this label.

Virgin Mobile uses the Sprint network. In my area is pure shit because they over sold it. You're lucky if you're able to send or receive a call or text message at peak hours. I jumped ship after a month. Now this was in 2010. I got a buddy that had Sprint and said he soften till has problem but it's not as bad as it use to be.

I'm still on unlimited and plan to be for a while. I use on average 6gigs/month. I've used up to ~25 in a month. Verizon has never contacted me trying to get me to change my plan.

Not to mention programs like Putty, when pinned to the taskbar, you can right click it and see the most recent sessions. You can also pin your most used sessions. This is one of the best things since sliced bread.

I would consider the camera, dialer and play store apps as part of the OS.

I've noticed Samsung does this. Their own online store will still check for updates to disabled apps and if one is found, update and enable the app.

Google needs to add an advanced mode to Android that when enabled prompts the users asking if they want to give said app permission to install and active a background service.

Google also needs to re-add the code that allows end users to block or disable a permission in an app. For example, I can disable the Facebook app from access my contacts.

Says my Note 10 2014 isn't supported yet. Like @dbrueck stated, it does work on my Note 2 as well.

BUT, I did get it working on my Note 10 Tablet.

I copied both the Amazon Store apk and the video player apk files from my Note 2 over and side loaded them on to my Note 10 tablet. I loaded up the store and went to the videos and it worked. I didn't buy or rent but the movie trailers play which didn't before. Movie trailer playback was smooth on both devices.

Also my Note 10 tablet is NOT rooted. Just my Note 2.

Just this past summer I went on a family trip. I was a passenger in one car and we had 2 other cars going with us. One was following and the other was coming from another direction. I was often texting the passengers in the other vehicles finding out where they were, if they were stopping for a rest break or to get some food and where.

I not only do that while riding in a car but also while sitting at my desk at work.

It boggles my mind why people thinking taking away ones license will prevent them from driving. Afterall they didn't care to follow the law the first time.

They use to have loaners on hand but stopped due to liability and insurance cost. Now they will give you a ride to a local car rental service. Your own car insurance will cover a rental.

My company offers VDSL up to 60mbit/sec depending on your distance. You can bond those in 2, 4 or 8 channels giving you up to 480mbit/sec. The cost for 4+ channels is pretty high though and more for businesses.

Now I'm not a fan of cable but I will admit that Charter has been good to me over the years. Just a month ago they increased my speeds from 15 to 60. I put this to a test by downloading various games and it held at 60 for 1.5 hours. I got a steady 7.6MB/second download through Steam. I just wish I could get a little more up speed so I can stream game play at 1080. Right now I got 4.5 up and 1080 will use most of that.

I saw the nick berg beheading years ago and I'm still horrified to this day. I will not watch this one because of that.

This IMO, is a special case and I personally think Youtube, Twitter and all other media should do what the family members would like.
