Man, I never even imagined seeing a time when we ran short of Mexicans.
In college you could have a professor that was terrible and EVERYONE told the dean he was terrible but even then they didn't do anything about it.
Because professors are there to do research and bring in grant money for the university. They are not hired nor are they evaluated on their teaching skills. Tenure is determined by funding.
If you mix poor and rich kids in the same areas, and they attend the same schools...
But they won't. The rich kids' parents will yank them out and enroll them in private schools as soon as poor/black/Latino students show up in any kind of numbers.
there are a lot of people who won't give up their national sovereignty to a world government (even if it's a democratic one).
Sounds good until you get to the details. What does a democratic world government look like? Each nation gets one vote = North and South America are fucked. Each human gets one vote = China tells everyone what to do.
How come proven liars such as Pelosi and Feinstein keep on getting re-elected despite all the goddamn things that they have done? Are the USian voters so damn stupid?
