Sun Open Sources the Netscape Enterprise Server 114

An anonymous reader writes "Brian Aker has announced that Sun has open sourced the Netscape Enterprise Server under the BSD license. This is the evolution of the original server Netscape sold in the '90s during the rise of the first bubble. Almost twenty years later, Apache's original competitor is now made available for anyone to use under an open source license."

Well, there public medical insurance, which is rather useless... I pay $300 for my insurance against critical illness (inability to work etc), and I have a meeting this afternoon with a second health insurance company which will pay for my use of private hospitals and medical clinics. I have yet to see how expensive that is going to be...

What else can you get that will last you forever for $1.29?

If you are so dirt poor that you don't have room for a $1.29 investment, then you most likely live on the street and cannot get food every day... My guess is that you aren't in the target audience anyway.

It's not that .NET isn't used in enterprise. It's used in the company I work for. It's more that nobody wants to work with it. Even in these times we cannot convince people to come and work for us because of the technologies we employ.

One of my friends even chooses to be unemployed rather than come and work for my company because he doesn't want to work with .net.
