Submission + - Please take your blog down. It ranks above mine!

Dogg writes: "A few days ago Dean hunt got a very interesting Email in which an angry webmaster insisted that Dean remove his blog from Google because it ranked above his own site in the SERPS on the grounds that "we make our living from this, and you are just writing a blog".

Of course, This made Dean laugh, This has to be a joke, Right?. So dean sent a reply asking if the webmaster was serious. A little later dean recieved another Email informing him that the webmaster had contacted both Google and his lawyer. I bet Dean is quaking in his boots.. Either that or rolling around the floor in hysterical fits of laughter."

Snakes on The Net Fail to Put Butts in the Seats 580

Lev13than writes "An article in The Globe & Mail discusses the disappointing performance of Snakes on a Plane. Despite extensive Internet hype and unprecedented audience involvement in the movie's development, it barely slithered into first place with a meager $13.8M weekend box office. 'The Internet stuff was just fun that people were having with it, but I don't think that necessarily meant that those people wanted to see the movie... those who had made that decision based their decision more on the traditional marketing than on all this Internet buzz.' Was all of the hype about blogger power just that — hype?"

Dragon's Lair Remastered in HD 263

JamesO writes "Digital Leisure has announced the development of Dragon's Lair HD, for release this autumn for the PC. Remastered is usually a term associated with DVD movie release, usually referring to the cleaning up of the film's print. It's not that odd then that the term is being used for what is essentially an interactive cartoon. Dragon's Lair HD promises to do what it says on the tin, offering the original game in true high definition. " I still remember the first time I saw Dragon's Lair in an arcade. I'd love to play it again in HD — in the arcade it was a quarter eater.

Razer's New Mouse Optimized for MMO and RTS 218

An anonymous reader writes "XYZComputing has a review of Razer's new Krait mouse which is specifically designed for massively multiplayer online gaming as opposed to the usual design focus of first-person shooters. From the article: 'The criteria for an appropriate mouse for each style of gaming are different, or at least Razer would want you to think that this is the case. With the market starting to accept products like gaming mice and gaming keyboards, it was only a matter of time until someone introduced a mouse for a certain type of game. While it is easy to be skeptical of such an idea, Razer has a great reputation and may actually be onto something here.'"
