Last I heard the USPS was complaining about reduced volume of mail causing losses. Now they are complaining that increased volume is causing losses. This has led to underpricing their service. They need to fix that ASAP.

The current Postmaster General is a corrupt Trump goon and the current president is 183 years old and brain dead. So, good luck with that.

Actually, it's both. You are correct that TikTok can be used -- and is being used --to influence people.

But there is a lot on TikTok (and all other social media) that is just good old fashioned disinformation.

(2) No, DST does not cause health problems. Your body doesn't know what time it is. No one should be bothered by a one hour time change. Maybe you just need to go to bed an hour earlier that one day in March. Also, cows and chickens don't know what time it is, either.

(3) We've already tried permanent DST, several times over the last 50 years, and people didn't like it. Maybe you're too young to remember that, but it happened.

(4) Maybe we should pass a law requiring the earth to change the way it is tilted, so that we always get the same amount of daylight all year. Because that makes just as much sense as constantly complaining about DST.

Nobody.

Number of downloads is completely meaningless. Billions of downloads does not mean that anyone actually likes it or finds it useful. It simply means that people are curious and trying it out, nothing more. Whether or not it has any long term success remains to be seen. I am skeptical that it will have any long term success because there are already too many well established social media platforms out there.

People aren't aren't using Windows 11 because it is good (it isn't) or because they like it, they are using it because that's what came on the computer they bought.

Well, here is the reason:

Prosus acquired Stack Overflow in a $1.8 billion deal in mid-2021

The new owner wasted two billion dollars and now they are looking for a way to save money. Unfortunately, companies still refuse to learn from the past: No company has ever cut their way to success.

The V.C. Summer plant has serious financial problems. They tried to expand by adding additional reactors but completely mismanaged it, squandered billions of dollars, and eventually killed the project.

No, the problem that is plaguing the entire nuclear industry is not a lack of will or lack of money. It is a lack of competent management that isn't completely corrupt.

Everything has been NT-based since Windows XP.

The problem is not "two teams". The problem is there is only one team and it is run by idiots. Nobody in their right mind can look at Windows 7 and then look at Windows 8 and say "Oh yeah, this is a good idea."

For some reason, that I still can't figure out, Microsoft has been on a crusade to completely destroy Windows, beginning with Windows 8 and continuing to the current Windows 11.

Windows 11 is ... usable (barely) but only with the addition of some third-party programs and registry tweaks to fix all the things that Microsoft has fucked up, and even then it is inferior to Windows 10 in overall usability. The fact that Windows 7, which is now 15 years old, is still better than anything released since, is really mind-boggling.

Also, anything involving the word "Zigbee" is just fucking retarded and should be avoided.
