(1) Daylight Saving Time is trivial. All modern devices, including my phone, computer and the radio in my car, update their time automatically. For everything else, it's only twice a year, only 2 days out of 365.
(2) No, DST does not cause health problems. Your body doesn't know what time it is. No one should be bothered by a one hour time change. Maybe you just need to go to bed an hour earlier that one day in March. Also, cows and chickens don't know what time it is, either.
(3) We've already tried permanent DST, several times over the last 50 years, and people didn't like it. Maybe you're too young to remember that, but it happened.
(4) Maybe we should pass a law requiring the earth to change the way it is tilted, so that we always get the same amount of daylight all year. Because that makes just as much sense as constantly complaining about DST.
