It has an easily replaceable battery, SSD, and ram. its the first one with aluminum body, so the keyboard feels extremely solid. every key still works great even with a decade of nacho grease and the occasional coffee spill. the command key picked up a small toke burn, but keeps going like a champ. i've never looked at this computer and thought "this could be thinner".
