Do you want to teach my 76 year mother how to use Linux and provide tech support? I certainly can't be arsed with that, meanwhile she uses Windows without any help.

If China wants these removed then that means there's no backdoor they have access to. I was always a bit suspicious of Telegram because Russia gave up on its attempts to ban it.
I'm surprised Threads and WhatsApp were still allowed given that Facebook was banned in about 2009 in China.
I still run a late 2007 15" MBP with 6GB of memory and OS X 10.11. Itâ(TM)s ok for web browsing, email and Office 2011 (yep, Office 365 donâ(TM)t really offer anything new). I used Lightroom 3 - 5 on it back in the day and VMWare Fusion running Windows 7.
Chrome is definitely a pig though. I havenâ(TM)t touched it with a barge pole for years, but my wife uses it on this Mac.
Can a Chinese company come to the US and qualify for those credits? On the flip side, can an America business go to China and benefit from the state support there?
That goes two ways: that means I have every right to tell you how to live when later on my taxes that have been forcefully taken from me are paying for your health care and state pension. I donâ(TM)t think youâ(TM)d appreciate that though, would you?
To be replaced by other sources energy. Time to move that mindset on.
TFA is about England, not the UK. 8.7% of England is developed: https://www.gov.uk/government/...
Surely banding in the resultant image means there was banding in the source image?
Not supporting HEIC/HEIF is a silly political decision at this point. All decent phones, not just iPhones, have been able to use HEIF for some time. Google even added HEVC support to Chrome some time ago too. The world hasnâ(TM)t ended.
Sounds like Microsoft during the Internet Explore 4-6 years. This is monopolistic behaviour, yet people keep up a fuss about Apple and want to give Google more free rein!
I don't give a fuck about other people
There, fixed it for you.
Thanks for sharing. This is strange list: it has some countries in there, but not some of the obvious ones like the US. Then I wonder if they are double counting, such as with Gazprom and the Russian Ferderation?
Oh please, you're making things up about Trump. Putin would have done what Putin would have done whether or not Trump was president. Besides, all signals Trump gave was that he wouldn't do something like lead with American air strikes if Russia invaded Ukraine. Let's be honest, Trump likes his ego being stroked, and the best you would have seen is him trying to get TV footage of him shaking Putin's hand as they made a "deal", with Trump coming home waving a piece of paper all Neville Chamberlain-esque.
Iâ(TM)m wondering what the process is with liblzma that allowed this through without a code review or a review that didnâ(TM)t understand the submission.
I donâ(TM)t think Iâ(TM)ve seen repeated compilations of the same source produce bit identical outputs for a long time. Thereâ(TM)s normally a few bytes different every time, which I always assumed was some sort of timestamp or checksum that includes the time as one of its inputs.
