It's getting increasingly difficult to fire poor performing employees. C

With the proliferation of "Right to Work" laws and states it has gotten much easier to get rid of any employee for practically any non-discriminatory reason, including their politics.

Non-union employees have essentially zero job protections and with the death of unions we have fewer and fewer union employees.

That is because the federal judiciary is biased against conservatives and Republicans, and for liberals and Democrats. It's why Trump and Bush and Reagan were always challenged while Clinton and Obama got away with whatever they wanted.

They allow Ds to get away with this bullshit practice, but spank the Rs.

Just spitballing here but maybe the R's tend to try shit that is truly unconstitutional more often than the D's so get themselves slapped down more often.

"At a statewide level, Wisconsin is a quintessential battleground where races are often decided by only a few percentage points. Contrast that to the state assembly map the Republicans drew: In 2012, they won 60 of the 99 seats in the Wisconsin Assembly despite winning only 48.6% of the two-party state-wide vote; in 2014, they won 63 seats with only 52% of the state-wide vote."

Don't get me wrong, this is not a partisan issue as both sides have historically tried to use gerrymandering to influence elections, it is just that lately the Republicans have been particularly aggressive and good at it.

Excuse me, you don't have to have a plan from the Exchanges to be covered by Obamacare. Obamacare established minimum coverages for the vast majority of healthcare insurance plans that were in existence.

Where the real lie was when your employer tried to claim that they had to drop coverage that was above the minimum in order to comply with the ACA, this was a pure bald-faced lie.

How much will Democrats force the federal government spend to investigate the Steele dossier, which they themselves funded the creation of and never bothered to corroborate or vett any claims within it before 'leaking' it to the press?

I don't know how much the federal government will spend investigating the Steele dossier but I will bet that it winds up being significantly less that the Republicans spent of investigating "Bengazi". And please address the contents of the dossier not where it originated, because if true then the contents are a damn-sight more important than who paid for it.

Try being a firefighter on a military installation. Still using 24hr shifts

- During the day definitely doing the tasks you mentioned
    --Training
    --Vehicle prep
    -- Equipment maintenance
    -- Public Service

After 1800, if night training isn't scheduled lots of downtime
-- Exercising in a in-station gym (I us the term gym loosely)
    -- Studying for a degree
-- Watching lots of TV, shooting pool and playing cards
