Comment It's still a great option. (Score 1) 155

Even though its processor is three generations old, it's still faster than the more expensive 12-inch MacBook. It has more ports than the 12-inch MacBook. And the MacBook Air is the only remaining laptop with the best feature of an Apple laptop â" MagSafe. With MagSafe you can trip on the power cord or try to run off with your laptop without unplugging it first without mangling the power connector and the power port. My computer wouldn't have lasted 10 years without it.

I prefer having a separate device for music anyway. I don't want my car speakers to pause and chime when I get a text. I don't want my music to pause when I use Siri to ask for directions. I want to have the option to turn the volume down instead of being force to pause it when I get a phone call.

In Alabama a municipality needs at least 2000 people to be a city. In Utah it only need 1000 people. In Wyoming incorporated municipalities with at least 4000 people are cities. In medieval times, a city was any town with a cathedral. And originally, the word was used for any settlement. I'm not especially consistent in my usage of "city" and "town", but I'd probably call a place a city if it's large enough to have a Wal*Mart. I never use the word "village", but if I was in charge of picking a definition for it, I would define it as a small unincorporated community, while a "town" would be a small incorporated community.

Caves - Afraid of falling in a deep pit - Caves are dark and can be slippery.
Ocean floor - Afraid of being crushed by the ocean.
Jungles - Ditto everything you said, and if it's Africa there's also Malaria and crap.
Deserts - I hate the heat, and the sand, and the wind blowing the sand, and the scorching sun.
City - I've already explored my town plenty.
Antarctic - I think it would be fun to explore the Antarctic with a team of professionals. Get to wear heavy winter clothes, there's nothing to eat me (is there?), and it's not too hot. Maybe build an igloo or a campfire and eat hot soup. My biggest fear would probably be that the icy floor would collapse beneath me and I'd either fall in the ocean or onto the ground hidden beneath the ice.
