I'm 32. A lot of people my age growing up simply used their cellphones and didn't see the need for a watch. Until 3 years ago I hadn't owned a watch since I was about 12. I now own a quartz watch and two mechanical automatics, and have my eye on a couple of others.

Most of the people I know don't know anything about watches, don't care, and just wear something that looks nice to them. A lot of them think Fossil is a great brand. Some just grab a cheap Casio/Timex and when the battery needs to be changed they throw it away and buy a new watch. However I do have a couple of friends that are really into watches and only buy mechanical.

I agree. I have two mechanical automatic watches, they never need winding or a new battery. One of them has a see through backing, and it's fun to watch the gears work. A nice mechanical watch really is almost a work of art.

No, they let you use the gmail service for your own domain name. The service is free, the domain is not.

I've transferred domains a ton of times and never had an issue. Your nameserver settings will remain the same, unless you're transferring a .eu domain. For .com/.net/.org you won't have any downtime.

There are many better domain registrars out there. Namecheap, dynadot, and internet.bs are good options.

Damn right I would be willing to bare-handed attack a hijacker. For one, I've had martial arts training. For two, there will be other people assisting me. Also, there are numerous improvised weapons that can be utilized, such as a belt, a pen, a lady's high heeled shoe, the spine of a hardback book. Those are just the few that came to mind immediately, but there are other options.

People are willing to fight for their lives, and there have been a few instances on airlines that have proven that.

TVShack wasn't just seized once, it was seized TWICE.

tvshack.net was the original domain, which switched to tvshack.cc after it was seized. They then put up a video of the song "Fuck the police" on the homepage. They were seized a second time.

some ccTLD domains, like .cc, are controlled by a US-based registry like Verisign. Which puts it under the reach of the US gov.

A fair number of the seized domains weren't hosting pirated material, but linked to sites that streamed media.
