As a citizen, yes it is your place to expose it. When did we get to the point where you wont even QUESTION authority? In this case the NSA was UNQUESTIONABLY wrong and it needed to be made public. Also, nuclear bombs are relatively trivial to design, there are few actual secrets. You take two chunks of refined material and smash them together at high speed. The hard part is getting the refined fissionable material.

My feeling is this, our government has compromised national security by acting in ways that are blatantly wrong. IF the government wasnt involved in incredibly dubious shit, i would be more sympathetic. The fact is our government is frantically trying to be able to tap everything, and that needed to be exposed.

You are using de-humanization to drive your point. I am an equal human to you. You have no right to force stuff into my body as we are equals. You may not like my position, but you havee to respect my right to that position or we will come to blows. You have no right to ask this, and i will fight you to the death if you try. There are limits to how far government can limit Liberty for Safety.

The lie detector itself is a fraud on the American citizen. Your example is poor. The FBI should not be allowed to use fraudulent devices in their hiring practices. It should not be considered fraud to evade the fraud perpetrated by the FBI. The entire thing comes down to might vs right. The FBI feels that whatever policy it sets is lawful, thus any break in that is a crime. We The People should remind the FBI that they have a duty to act ethically, including not using fraud as SOP.
