Submission + - Is F.E.A.R the scariest game in the industry?

hunter_invul writes: "I was searching around the internet about F.E.A.R Extraction Point and found some of those smaller forums you come across every now and then. Becuase I was searching F.E.A.R, there were dedicated sites to the game, and they were all saying how F.E.A.R was the scariest game ever made, abbove other titles such ass Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 episode 2. And there probably right becuase when you look on the back of the box, you see all these reviews like "It's creepy, gorey, and we're hooked" and stuff like that. F.E.A.R is a gaming experience you won't forget. It won many awards, and I think it does deserve title as the scariest game ever made, so far. But still it's not my favorite, Doom 3 has a really suspenseful mood to it, and so does Half-Life 2 episode 2."

Submission + - Bloomberg Predicts Sony Profits to fall 50%

Dr. Eggman writes: Bloomberg, a highly reputable financial news and analysis company, reports that Sony Corp. 3rd Quarter Profits may fall 50%, jepordizing the company's reputation among investors. The likely 3rd Quarter drop is attributed to "The game division, Sony's second-largest by revenue, [which] probably lost 50.9 billion yen during the quarter, compared with a profit of 67.8 billion yen a year earlier." However, Sony's overall fiscal year profits may yet beat their forecasts, which were drastically cut back in October, due to an expected 23% increase in profits from their consumer electronics division and a weaker Yen. Still, some investment management companies do not recommend investors buy stock in Sony "until the company improves its earnings."
