By depositing money that I can then withdraw later? You might not be using an actual bank if you feel you're getting robbed by it. Sure it's more accessible under your mattress, but that doesn't make it safer.

Why is that better? At least with a check I can deposit the money with my phone and I don't have to worry about being robbed on the way home.

Yes. I have that abomination on my cellphone. It sucks to plug in, but at least it's compatible with normal plugs

PHP and javascript are both fully functional programming languages even if both have flaws. CSS and HTML on the other hand are for web markup and display.

Form the NSA's perspective, they are interested in security - while the NSA itself has numerous means of getting into a system (including some legal ones!), they don't want China or random hackers to be taking control of systems. They're overall goal is security of the US, so while one arm is doing that by trying to collect all the information, another arm is doing that by locking down everything.

My bank changed me a fee for not using my account in a couple years. It had no money in it, so it was then overdrawn by $10 which they charged another fee for. I called them up and they removed it saying it was "just go get people's attention"

Was that a couple years ago? The FAA recently loosened restrictions on using devices including using them more of the flight and allowing wifi (cellphones still need to be in airplane mode which turns of the cell transmitter).

Really that's just assembling but fewer of the parts came preassembled. Until you've smelted your own metal for wires and designed your own processor, you're just plugging in a few more parts

There's a difference between creating a product and creating a market for a product. The feature-phone/smartphone market was pretty much stagnating until Apple released their iPhone, at which point it took off. Android helped, but that was a bit later.

It CAN do anything but it's hard to mass produce properly. All these cool lab uses have been able to make small quantities, but it would be too expensive to make it that way. Small imperfections can mess up a batch.
