beside the MS PDK,that includes Pascal, C, and Assembler. The PWB Programming environment that SW used is the best I've ever used. It had a meta-language that you could use across multiple files and languages.
One of my early projects was Life. Seeing 'golly' made me realize what a good programmer could do, lol.All that documentation is about 6 feet of shelf space. :)

If you can cool the rods for the next ~12 hours,Nothing will happen at all. You don't have to dissipate the generated power or anything, just keep the rods cool from accumulated 'waste, which doesn't 'turn off' like the active fission, which goes away with all the control rods in.Nuke plants need off-site power when they aren't making their own. Most have diesel generators for a backup.
If you have Russian Morons dismantling a plant with explosives, safety systems will be unreliable at best.
You can be sure: Putin is going to create a second chernobyl "accident"; they just haven't figured out how yet. I really can't understand what he thinks he can gain from this whole invasion. He's already lost more than he will ever recoup in his lifetime. Psycho's are as Psycho's do. :)

I used to design Gamma Detectors, using PMT's.
We used Zener Diodes in the circuitry, and suddenly They started failing by the systemfull.
It came down to a Zener diode that cost less than $00033., that's $33 per 10,000. :)
A rectifier diode just happened to break over at 200v, and they used those, remarked to our part.
Not being zeners, they failed rapidly. Different internals, not suited for the purpose, so they failed fast. :)

I did learn something from it: Zeners and rectifier diodes have opposite temperature coefficients, so you can tell the difference with a heat gun and a multimeter. :)
