Nope... 802.11n may either run on 2.4GHz (b/gn) or 5GHz (an) but needs dual radios to run on both frequencies on the same time.
True dual band AP's are quite expensive, even switchable band AP's cost much more than b/gn AP's: a Zyxel NWA-3166 has a list price of USD 200.

We could ship bulk cargo in containers, it would need some modifications but lot less than those folding containers: we just need to be able to tilt the container so the door is at the top, fill it with bulk cargo, close the doors and tilt back... and mark it "DANGER! BULK CARGO" so nobody opens the door.

E-mail has a 48 hour period where you can't know whether your mail has been received or not...

Denmark is very Microsoft oriented, our former prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen even visited Steve Ballmer in Redmond.
A move away from Microsoft product is very hard, the usual management argument is either: "Worlds biggest software company surely must have the best product!" or "Worlds most sold Office package must be best!" combined with the fact that nearly every business uses either Dynamics AXA or Dynamics NAV (or some former versions of those two) makes any changes next to impossible.
This is btw. second big move away from MS Office in the health sector, "Region Midtjylland" did this a couple of years ago. Several municipalities has also moved either everything or just the education.

Comment First: Rewire! (Score 1) 300

Running on old telephone cables is a very bad idea, you may put a lot of hardware to compensate for the cabling but the right solution is to rewire to CAT6.
The WiFi solution should be something like a Zyxel NXC5200 and NWA5160N or the older Zyxel NXC8160 and NWA8500 or a similar Cisco solution (which will cost you at least 50% more). The NXC provides a central management point, firewall and a captive portal, NXC communicates with its NWA's over Ethernet.

Do not take the gig if they insist on running on old cabling, if you do prepare for serious trouble.

Even quite hardcore UNIX guys will get a very funny look on their face when you tell them to use the Terminal as an admin tool on OS X.

Been there, tried that... got the response: "It's an Apple, I will NOT use a Terminal on an Apple... there must be a fancy GUI somwhere".
