I actually leave Trapster running with my phone in it's GPS cradle. Then it beeps and lets me know that I am approaching a traffic enforcement point, school zone or red light camera or any of the other helpful warnings it also gives me. It acts as a great safety mechanism to help me watch out for potential road hazards... including the police.

Just was testing and that's about what I was getting on my NookColor. Though the lack of a physical keyboard was an issue... I just wanted to check if it would run at all.

Works great on my NookColor with Phiremod based on CM7.
It also works great on my LG Optimus S with CM7.

Both are unsupported and ones an ereader, the other a low end free Android phone. By running well on this I think it shows how wide the range of hardware it can really run on.

Submission + - B&N Nook Color 1.2 update released (engadget.com)

basotl writes: "Barnes and Noble has begun sending out over-the-air updates for the NookColor which brings Froyo, Apps and Flash to the color e-reader. Engadget gives a review of the update with some video of it in action. Now the NookColor will have some tablet action without requiring flashing an image to the device. Looking at the performance in the video I think I will be sticking with CM7 but I can see this update as being good enough for the average user."
